Security and two-factor authentication
Sign-in options, turning on 2FA, and resetting your password.
How you sign in and keep your account safe is handled in Settings under Security.
How you sign in
You can log in with an email and password, or with Google. If you ever forget your password, use the Forgot password link on the login page and you will get an email to reset it, so a lost password never means a lost account.
Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication, or 2FA, adds a second lock on top of your password. AdLift uses an authenticator app, the kind that shows a rotating six digit code. To turn it on, scan the QR code in the Security tab with your app, enter the code it shows, and from then on you will be asked for a fresh code each time you sign in.
Setting it up takes a minute and is the single best thing you can do to protect your account, especially if you handle real ad spend.
2FA is required for admins and cannot be switched off on an admin account. This is deliberate, since admins can change connections and manage people, so their accounts are the ones most worth protecting.
