Analysing performance

Create analyses to compare creatives and understand what drives results.

Analyse is for the deeper questions that a live dashboard cannot answer on its own. Instead of watching numbers tick over, you create an analysis that compares your creatives, tracks how efficiently you are spending, and surfaces the trends behind your results.

Creating an analysis

  1. Open Analyse and click New analysis.
  2. Choose the type that fits your question: Performance, Creative, Audience or Custom.
  3. AdLift processes it in the background. You may see it as Pending or In progress at first, and it moves to Completed when it is ready.

What you get back

An analysis brings together the metrics that actually explain performance, like ROAS, CPA and CTR, alongside a side by side comparison of your creatives and how they have trended over time. The idea is to move you from what happened to why it happened, so your next decision is based on evidence rather than a guess.

A quick word on availability

Like Campaigns, Analyse is part of the higher plans. If it is not in your left bar, it is not included in your current plan yet rather than missing by mistake. You can see what your plan covers in Settings under Plans and Billing. Analyse also works best once Meta is connected, since it draws on your own performance data.
