Setting up your account
What happens the first time you sign in, and how to finish setting up.
The first time you sign in, AdLift runs a short onboarding. It only takes a couple of minutes, and its job is to learn enough about your brand that the rest of the app feels tailored to you from day one.
What you will be asked
A few facts about your brand
You will enter your brand name, your website and the country you sell in. Together these become your Brand Kit, the set of facts AdLift uses to target the right market and to keep the AI's suggestions grounded in your real business instead of a generic template.
What you want out of AdLift
Next you will tell AdLift what you are here to do, whether that is researching competitors, producing more creative, or getting a handle on performance. This helps the app put the most relevant tools in front of you first.
Connecting your Meta account
The final step is connecting Facebook and Instagram. This is what lets your own ad data flow into AdLift, and it unlocks Campaigns and Analyse later on. If you are not ready yet, you can skip it and come back at any time. Nothing else in onboarding depends on it.
You can change everything later
None of these answers are set in stone. Your brand details and reporting currency live in Settings, under Workspaces and then General, and you can update them whenever your business changes. If you skipped the Meta step, you will find a clear prompt to connect both on the Home screen and in Settings.
What happens next
Once onboarding is done, AdLift drops you on the Home screen. If you connected Meta, it will already be pulling in your accounts and quietly discovering the brands you advertise alongside, so Compass has something to show you straight away. If you skipped that step, you can still start researching competitors and browsing templates right away.
